For more than three decades, Gogo has provided best-in-class inflight connectivity for the business aviation industry. As a leader within our community, Gogo strives to raise the bar high by innovating and adapting to new technologies and the evolving needs of the business aviation community. That’s why in 2022 we announced a new Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite solution that will provide broadband connectivity worldwide. We named it Gogo Galileo. And we’re proud to unveil that we just hit another milestone, completing end-to-end connectivity using the HDX antenna on the fully deployed Eutelsat OneWeb LEO satellite network. This major step proves the functionality of the antenna technology and ultimately the entire Gogo Galileo ecosystem.
In February, Gogo received the first fully constructed engineering prototype of the HDX antenna at its headquarters in Broomfield, Colorado, which is now being used for software integration and for over-the-air testing. It’s a significant step forward so we can begin to validate design and performance as we prepare for flight tests later this year.
Just as Rome wasn’t built in a day, nor were the various crucial elements that will make Gogo Galileo the first true global inflight connectivity service for any size business aircraft worldwide.
