Q: What is the Gogo C1?

A: Gogo C1 serves as a form-fit replacement for legacy ATG systems (ATG 1000, 2000, 4000, or 5000), preparing you for LTE transition. The Gogo C1 allows you to maintain connectivity through network transition with minimal downtime and changes to your existing installation.


Q: Why is Gogo C1 needed?

A: Gogo C1 is the easiest and fastest way to replace your legacy ATG system. It also keeps you on the path to AVANCE as it gives you more time to get your upgrade scheduled and completed. 


Q: Is Gogo C1 an AVANCE system?

A: No, the Gogo C1 is not an AVANCE system.


Q: When will the Gogo C1 be available?

A:  Gogo C1  is available and ready to ship today, while supplies last.  Limited quantities are available, so we recommend securing your Gogo C1 as soon as possible.


Q: What Gogo systems are compatible with Gogo C1?

A: Gogo C1 is compatible with the vast majority of systems originally installed with legacy ATG systems. Contact your preferred Gogo authorized aftermarket dealer to verify for your aircraft. 


Q: How many Ethernet Ports are available on Gogo C1?

A: There are 3 Ethernet Ports available on Gogo C1.


Q: What is the performance of Gogo C1?

A: The Gogo C1 will have similar performance as a legacy ATG system today, with no performance boost due to the LTE network transition.


Q: What is the difference between a legacy ATG system and the Gogo C1?

A: Gogo C1 will continue to operate on the 850MHz Licensed Network after the transition to LTE when legacy ATG systems will stop working.


Q: At what altitude does connectivity start for Gogo C1?

A: Connectivity starts at 10,000ft AGL.


Q: What are the Gogo C1 Service Plans?

A: The Gogo C1 service plans will be the same as your legacy ATG system.


Q: What is the Warranty included for a Gogo C1?

A: The Gogo C1 has a 12-month warranty included.


Q: How many devices are supported by the Gogo C1?

A: Gogo C1 will support the same number of devices as your legacy ATG system.


Q: What is the installation process of the Gogo C1? Is it a "box swap" for a legacy ATG system?

A: Gogo C1 is a form-fit replacement for legacy ATG systems and has been designed to minimize the time required to replace it. In most cases it will take just a few hours to complete.


Q: What is the price for Gogo C1?

A: MSRP = $35,000

Q: What is the part number for the Gogo C1 LRU?

A: The LRU part number is P62000-001.


Q: Is there anything else that needs to be ordered?

A: No, the Gogo C1 is designed to be compatible with your existing legacy ATG system connectivity infrastructure.


Q: Can a Gogo Galileo antenna (HDX or FDX) be added to the Gogo C1?

A: No, the Gogo Galileo antennas are not compatible with Gogo C1. You need an AVANCE system onboard to get Gogo Galileo.


Q: Will Gogo C1 be available for new installs?

A: No.


Q: What is the Wireless Access Point (WAP) solution for Gogo C1?

A: You can reuse your existing WAP solution for Gogo C1.


Q: Is the Gogo C1 compatible with a pre-existing legacy ATG Side Rail Mount (P14290)?

A: Yes.
